SHORT DESCRIPTION -

“Building Green Schools in the occupied Palestinian territory” Workshop Objectives:1.– Discuss the challenges of implementing Green Schools in the oPt. 2.– Share experiences and lessons learned on Green Schools’ construction especially in relation to bio climatic measures and environmentally friendly materials. 3.– Assess the capacities to develop Green Schools in the oPt. 4.– Discuss an action plan to boost the construction of Green Schools in the oPt. 5.– Recommend the review of actual designs’ criteria for school buildings. 6.– Start the process to develop a green model for government schools that can cope with the fast development of teaching methods and green technology. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, Engineers Association and UNDP and sponsored by The Italian Cooperation and BTC.
